Licenses & Permits: Fishing

LANDOWNER-SPORTSMAN RELATIONS
back to Licenses and Permits page

West Virginia hunters and anglers are indebted to local landowners throughout the state. Without their consent and generosity, hunting and fishing would be restricted to state and federal lands. The opportunity for continued use of private property is largely dependent upon our attitudes and conduct. Most stream closures and "no trespassing" are the result of disrespect for private property.

Report stream pollution of fish kills toll-free: 1-800-642-3074
Report fish and game law violations toll-free: 1-800-638-4263 (1-800-NET-GAME)
